Processing Technology Of  U channel steel

The production process of channel steel mainly includes raw material preparation, melting, continuous casting, rolling and follow-up treatment.

1. Raw material preparation The main raw materials of channel steel are iron ore, coal and scrap steel. These raw materials through the crushing, screening and batching processes, to obtain suitable for smelting raw materials.

2. Smelting raw materials are melted at high temperature to melt the metal elements and separate them from other impurities to obtain molten metal.3. Continuous casting molten metal is continuously cast into slab or billet by continuous casting machine. Continuous casting is an important step in the production of channel steel, and its quality directly affects the smooth progress of subsequent rolling process.

4. After the rolling slab or billet is preheated, it enters the rolling mill for rolling. In the rolling process, the slab or billet is gradually deformed into the cross section shape of the channel steel by constantly adjusting the roll position and rolling force of the mill.

5. Follow-up treatment After rolling, the channel steel needs to be cooled, cut, rust removal, marking and other follow-up treatment processes to improve its surface quality and mechanical properties.

A: For stocks, we could transport the goods to loading port within 7 days after we received your deposit. For production period,it usually takes about 15 days-30 days after receiving the deposit.
Q5: Could you provide the samples?
A: yes, we could provide the free samples on conditons it is available in stocks, however, the the transportation fee is borne by buyer.
